Blogging Defeats Axis of Evil!
Go to Google. Now type "Arabian Gulf" in the search engine and check out your results, click on the first result. I recommend pressing the "I'm feeling lucky" button to start with.
If you don't feel like doing all the hard work, just visit "http://arabian-gulf.info/"
Make sure you read the whole page.
What you see there is the work of Iranian bloggers who are protesting the labeling of the Persian Gulf as "The Arabian Gulf." They say that the Gulf has been the "Persian Gulf" forever, and Iran, as we all know, is predominantly Persian (thanks to my wonderful high school friend Soraya Sajadian for repeatedly telling me that for four years).
So, the web-saavy population of Iran has protested the 21st century way: sarcasm on the Internet.
I think the Iranian and American peoples have more in common than we think.
I just hope that no one tells them that the first Internet was invented by the US Military.
